Up-and-coming American tennis player Michael McClune returned home to Irvine after a whirlwind month.

He won the USTA 18's national tennis title in Michigan, traveled to Florida to train and then hit the bright lights of New York City and got to play in the U.S. Open.

But McClune was sure glad to be home last week.
